Thanks to the sturdy and solid body with under the long hood and a powerful 6 cylinder engine the Triumph TR6 has been the favorite of many car enthusiasts since its introduction in 1968! Almost 92000 examples were built up to and including 1976, the majority of which were shipped to the northern states of America. For Europe, the car was delivered with fuel injection. For the USA market, the car was fitted with varburettors. The bodywork is finished in white paint which, together with the wide wheels and the factory hardtop, gives it a brisk appearance. In the interior, the seats and doors are upholstered in chic black with black floor covering. The wooden dashboard features the original instruments, certainly for its age an extensive array of gauges. As a highly appreciated option, this TR6 PI is equipped with an overdrive which provides more comfort and tranquility while driving at higher speeds. The sturdy bodywork has a tight fit. On the original steel wheels are the high 80 series tires mounted. Under the long hood lies the powerful 6 cylinder engine which runs beautifully and produces a wonderful sound, in the past a stainless steel exhaust was mounted.
