This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at CarFest 2026 on Saturday the 29th of August and Sunday the 30th of August at The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.
Produced between 1981 and 1988, the Mk2 Cavalier SRi became one of Vauxhall’s most recognizable sporting saloons of the 1980s.
First registered in May 1986 by Robin Hood Garage, Penge, it still has less than 49,000 miles. The car has had three previous owners from new and has been stored in dry, heated conditions by the current keeper for the past five years.
It is finished in its original Astral Silver with an anthracite lower body and a red coachline/striping across the bumpers and paintwork. The car is complete with dealer plates and a rear window sticker.
Powered by a 115bhp, 1.8-litre fuel-injected four-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, it is presented in notably original condition throughout, retaining many features and details associated with the SRi model.
The vehicle is supplied with original handbooks, previous MOTs, and tax discs.
A well-regarded example within Vauxhall enthusiast circles, this is an appealing opportunity to acquire a cherished 1980s performance Vauxhall. Viewing is highly recommended.
