This is a beautifully restored 1954 Volkswagen Beetle. In 1954, Volkswagen gave the Beetle a larger engine. The engine grew from 1,131cc to 1192cc. Thanks to the increased displacement, the engine power increased from 30 hp to 36 hp. This example has been fully restored with a great sense of originality. The black paint looks fantastic. The body is beautiful and the sheet metal nice and thin with correct fits. The car is of course on the correct rims with tires in the right sizes and even the chrome is in top condition. The "Oval" Beetle is characterized by the oval-shaped rear window, but also by the flat headlights. The car also benefits from a number of fine upgrades that Volkswagen had introduced over the years. For example, the transmission has syncromesh rings on the second, third and fourth gear and the drum brakes are hydraulically assisted all around. The engine and transmission have been completely overhauled and are in top condition. The four-cylinder boxer engine produces the characteristic Beetle sound and runs beautifully smoothly. The transmission shifts smoothly and can be operated precisely. Finally, we have to talk about the fantastic interior. During the restoration, the interior was completely reupholstered, again with a great sense of originality and quality. The Beetle literally looks like it just rolled off the line. In short, a beautiful Volkswagen Käfer in fantastic restored condition.
