This is a original german Volkswagen T1 bus 1962, the bus have an VW Certificate that confirms its delivered in that color with that features to California in 1962. The history confirms also that the car goes to UK 25years ago, and then to Germany.
The bus have Safari windows in the front, and six on the side, engine is a 2L Boxer with Riechert carburetor, electronic ignition, motor start everytime and drive very powerful, the transmission is from rancho, you can drive easly 100km/h. The exhaust is from Ahnendorp and not too loud. Everything works on that bus, german Tüv is new, german oldtimer title also.
The body and underbody from that bus is unwelded, nothing is brand new and painted, its just in a very good shape with no rust. Also the paint is partly the original one from 1962.
Interior is new in the original color from the certificate. Gene Berg shortshifter is installed. The chassis is inside insulated.
Front axle is from Wagenwerks, smaller and deeper, rear axle original but deeper, rims are polished Fuchs rims from Flat4 Japan.
I changed the breaks and the fluid last year, so there is nothing to do on the bus at the moment. Roof rack is installed with an surfboard. Surfboard is not part of the car:)
