Additional Restoration History
In 2014, the vehicle underwent a professional restoration involving major bodywork with replacement of all panels and a full paint job in Ruby Red and Perlweiss. It was later resprayed in Hannover at VW in colors close to the original. The bed frame and canvas were reproduced as original and later lowered for garage fitment. It spent several years in Spain, driven without issues to the owner’s holiday home.
