Sold new in Sweden and first registered in May 1959. Originally delivered to Olof Anderssons Bilverkstad in Sollebrunn, which operated an authorized Volvo workshop at the time. The car was owned by Olof from new until December 1, 1993. After his passing, ownership was transferred to his wife Astrid, who retained the car until November 2021, when it was acquired by us. The vehicle has an unusually well-documented and continuous ownership history, remaining within the same family for 62 years.
The condition is very good and original. The body is believed to retain its original paint finish. The light grey interior is in excellent condition. This is a four-door Volvo Amazon 122 S, equipped with the early red rear lights. Mechanically sound and fully drivable, although a minor service is recommended before regular use due to a period of storage.
The odometer currently shows 36,730 km. Since the odometer rolls over at 100,000 km, the total mileage is believed to be approximately 136,730 km. Extensive documentation is included from new, including the original Volvo-issued warranty certificate for the first owner.
