This is a beautifully restored and refurbished Volvo P1800S from 1969. This example was built in Sweden and there also restored by a specialist. The car has been completely dismantled and with great care and sense of originality restored to its former glory. The car has been repainted in its original color and looks beautiful from the first sight. The Volvo P1800S not only looks beautiful but is also equipped with some nice extras’s such as Overdrive, alloy wheels, rear window heater, tinted windshield, headrests a radio and a tachometer. If we look at the body then we immediately notice that the sheet metal is nice and thin and the body has beautiful fits. The paint was well painted at the time and still has a beautiful shine. The P1800S stands on wider rims than were fitted in the factory. The wheels give the car a tough appearance. The rims have good Michelin tires in the correct sizes. Things like the trim, bumpers and window rubbers are only in very good condition and connect everywhere as they should. The interior has been completely reupholstered and looks to be through a ring. The seats have access to headrests and were not only reupholstered during the restoration but also filled head to head. The carpets have been completely redone and fit beautifully throughout. The dashboard has also been completely reupholstered and looks beautiful. The instruments and controls are all completely original and looks beautiful. The headliner has also been completely redone and fits nicely throughout. The technology has been completely overhauled and is in top condition. The Volvo P1800S is powered by the well-known B18 engine which in this case delivers 115 hp and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The Volvo P1800S was already praised at the time for its wonderful driving characteristics and good road holding. In that respect, little has changed in the past 50 years, the car still drives wonderfully. The chassis and brakes were completely renewed during the restoration and the differential was also overhauled. The car feels very tight and drives exactly like a Volvo P1800S should. The steering rack is of course also completely free of play and contributes to the tight steering behavior of the Volvo. The P1800S comes with some general documentation. In short, not only a beautiful Volvo P1800S to see but also a pleasure to drive.
