Vehicle history:
The first Range Rover was officially unveiled on June 17, 1970, and was manufactured from July 1970 to February 1996, undergoing continuous technical development throughout this period. Its permanent four-wheel drive, coil spring suspension, and, last but not least, its 3.5-liter V8 engine revolutionized the off-road vehicle market at the time. Even in the 1970s, the Range Rover was considered a role model for a number of other luxury off-road vehicles. Despite its comfortable, and if desired, luxurious interior and its roadworthy appearance, the Range Rover “Classic” is a capable off-road vehicle even without modifications. The long suspension travel of the axles and the relatively high ground clearance ensure traction even under difficult conditions.
This beautiful Range Rover, in the rare color Tuscan Blue, was delivered on January 31, 1977, via the Heinz Hill dealership in Wiesbaden to its first owner, who owned the vehicle until 2022 (45 years). Until 1980, five inspections were carried out at the same dealership. The second owner drove the Range Rover for one year before the current owner bought the car in 2023. Numerous repair and service invoices are on hand.
