The Riley RMC was produced from 1948 to 1951.

In 1949 Riley announced the production of some RHD cars. The post-war steel shortage made it difficult to produce enough LH and RHD vehicles. Riley produced 507 RMC’s in total. According to the British Riley register, 200 have survived. The Riley RMC has a front bench with room for three people. In its day the RMC was a true sports car producing 100 Hp and an amazing top speed of 160 km/hr. This Riley’s 4-cylinder 2.5 litre engine has recently been overhauled. According to the aficionados, this Riley is the last of the old firm models. The RMC was the last model to be independently produced by Riley before it was incorporated into the British Motor Corporation. This particular RMC is in very good condition. The paintwork is very neat and the body panels are all correctly aligned. During the restoration, the hood and tonneau cover were not overlooked. The beige hood perfectly seals when closed. The two-tone beige and black finish represent its period very well. The beige interior trim and complete wooden dashboard have been very neatly restored. The forward folding front screen delivers additional speed sensation changing the RMC into a proper spider. In short a very nicely restored Riley RMC in good condition!
