Datsun 2000 Sports “Fairlady” (SRL311)
Known in the Japanese market as the Datsun Fairlady, the SRL311 series was introduced to the public at the 14th Tokyo Motor Show in October 1967.
This unit left the NISSAN MOTOR CO., LTD. Located in Yokohama (Japan) in April 1968, equipping one of the most powerful engines available for this model. The optional U20 1,982cc (2L) OHC 150 hp engine with “Mikuni - Solex” carburetor (Solex carburetors manufactured under license in Japan by the Mikuni company).
It has a gearbox, optional on the 2000 model, with five synchronized speeds, as well as equipping a double-circuit braking system with front disc brakes and rear drums.
It is one of the most iconic classic roadsters of the Datsun brand due to the success it had in the expansion of the Japanese movement within the American market in the late sixties.
