This is a beautifully restored Volvo P1800S. The car was delivered new in the United States in 1967 and fully restored several years ago. The work was done to a high standard at the time and the car still looks beautiful. The bodywork is very clean with nice thin sheet metal and correct fits. The chrome trims fit nicely throughout and things like the bumpers and original hubcaps also look great. The “Steelblue” paint was painted very well at the time and still looks very nice. The chrome bumpers look to pass through a ring and fit nicely throughout. Also, the rubber strips around the doors are obviously in very good condition. The interior was recently completely reupholstered with beautiful black leather and well-fitting black carpets. Also, things like the controls and instruments all look very good and function as they should. The counters in the Volvo P1800S are a feast for the eyes anyway, true works of art, pure functional Swedish design. The headliner is also in very good condition. The technology has already been completely overhauled once. The B18 engine runs very well and is wonderfully smooth. The engine produces 115 hp and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The suspension is in good condition and the brakes also allow precise dosing. The steering is naturally free of play and contributes to the Volvo's pleasant handling. The engine is equipped with two rebuilt SU carburetors. The top speed is 175 kilometers per hour, fine performance for the time. The car comes with some general information. What it really comes down to in short is that this is a fine restored and reconditioned car that not only looks good but also drives wonderfully.
