Experience the revival of the legendary Aston Martin DB5, resurrected through a special partnership between Aston Martin and EON Productions, creators of the James Bond series. Building on the success of the DB4 G.T. continuation, this initiative introduces 25 limited edition Goldfinger DB5 models, masterfully crafted by Aston Martin Works in collaboration with EON Productions.

An important note: Aston Martin confirms that the recreated Goldfinger DB5, inspired by the 1964 James Bond model, will not be street-legal. Crafted at the historic Newport Pagnell site, the birthplace of the original DB5, these replicas will be true to the on-screen version with enhanced modifications for optimal build quality and reliability.

The Goldfinger DB5 editions will not only embody authenticity but also feature fully operational gadgets like revolving number plates, reminiscent of the iconic Goldfinger film. These unique features are developed in collaboration with Oscar®-winner Chris Corbould, renowned for his work on James Bond movies. Endorsed by Aston Martin and EON Productions, each vehicle in this exclusive series will be finished in the classic Silver Birch paint, mirroring the original 1964 model.

The DB5's film debut was so impactful that it inspired a Corgi die-cast model, selling a remarkable 2.5 million units in 1965, igniting a generation's dream of owning an Aston Martin. The Goldfinger DB5 continuation project now realizes this dream for 25 lucky individuals with an authentic replica of the original car. Additionally, three special editions are planned: one each for EON and Aston Martin, and another for a charity auction.

Aston Martin's CEO, Andy Palmer, expresses this as the ultimate collector's dream, combining nostalgia with high craftsmanship. The Aston Martin Works team and the James Bond film's special effects experts are bringing this dream to life for a select few.

Each of these exclusive Goldfinger DB5 models is priced at GBP 2.75m, excluding taxes, with first deliveries expected in 2020.
